Church players
turn to crime!

LORD Saville's Crime has come to Bedford.

There were three performances of the Oscar Wilde comedy by the Wesley Players, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Wesley Players are a Bedford group linked' to Priory Methodist Church, Newnham Avenue.

The plays were performed in the church hall. Mrs Judith Argent, whose husband played Lord Saville, said that practically all the tickets had been sold. They cost 50p or 30p for children and old age pensioners. The money will go to the Wesley Players' fund.
